On Monday 22nd December, Zanshin Black Belt Academy held thier annual presentation evening.
First there was a childrens magician, who was excellent, next, we were all treated to an amazing karate demonstration from the 2008 junior squad. A buffet and HUGE raffle followed, finishing with the annual presentations.
There were 20 black belt presentations, a most progressed and most attended trophy for every zanshin karate dojo. The 2008 kata grand prix winners, best competitor of the year, which was won by Marcus Ingham (Nidan). The junior squad were presented with awards and finally came the student of the year, Stuart Amos (Nidan).
It was a great evening and we are all looking forward to a great 2009!
